My Background

I was born and raised in Canada. When growing up I always enjoyed exploring technology and learning how things worked. My early interest in computers eventually led me to pursue a education in web development. One of the most interesting experiences from my background was when I first learned to build a website in high school; I remember being fascinated at how simple code could turn into something visually meaningful on the screen. That experience sparked my curiosity and continues to inspire me today.

Before coming to Sheridan, I spent a lot of time experimenting with different areas of technology, from graphic design to simple programming projects. I also worked part-time in jobs unrelated to technology, but those experiences taught me about teamwork, responsibility, and adaptability. Looking back, I believe that all of these small steps have shaped the way I approach problem-solving and creative projects now.

My Education and Goals

I chose the Web Development program at Sheridan because it provides a strong foundation in both design and programming that seems interesting to learn. I appreciate that the program emphasizes practical, hands-on projects that mirror real-world development. My career goal is to work as a front end developer where I can combine creative design with strong technical skills. I hope to either join a company that values accessibility and user entered design or even launch my own digital venture.

Secondary school was where I first started to enjoy subjects like computer science and art. While I wasn’t particularly fond of math at first. Then I eventually realized its importance in logic and programming. My favorite moments in school were when I got to work on projects that required both creativity and problem solving those moments pushed me toward this career path.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy gaming and to socialize. taught me patience and an appreciation for small details. The skills that are surprisingly useful in coding as well. Socailizing helps me recharge and keeps me motivated when projects get challenging. Gaming, often inspires me to think about user experience and design in a different way, since games are essentially interactive digital experiences.
